Dutch FM Uri Rosenthal stated that his country wants the Serbian authorities to do everything to arrest Hague fugitives. He added that is the viewpoint of all EU member countries, not only Holland. Dutch FM: EU shares our stance on Hague "The Dutch government stand on EU enlargement remains the same. For Holland, enlargement does not exist merely for enlargement's sake." "On the other hand, our activities in that field are governed by stern and fair principles," Rosenthal underlined in an interview for the German Deutsche Welle Radio. "If we consider Serbia's case and its possible accession into the EU, the Dutch government has been strict as regards the necessity of Serbia's full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal. We want the Serbian authorities to do everything in their power to arrest Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic." "Hague Prosecutor Serge Brammertz said himself that the Serbian authorities have so far not completely cooperated in that respect. That is our position as well. That is the standpoint adopted by the remaining 26 EU member states, and we are satisfied with the way the issue is now being handled," Rosenthal said.
