The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has reelected Hashim Thaci as its leader, said reports from Pristina. Thaci, who also heads the Kosovo Albanian government, was the only candidate for the top party position as delegates voted on Sunday. Thaci reelected as party leader After his reelection, Thaci said he believed his party would be victorious in the forthcoming elections in Kosovo. He also commented on the dissolution of the previous ruling coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), by saying that the party leader, Fatmir Sejdiu, who resigned as Kosovo's president after a court said he was in a conflict of interest, "wanted solidarity in his opposition to the decision that the constitution was violated". Thaci added that he "could not do such a thing", and that after this point, "those who violate the constitution separated from those who advocate respect of the constitution and laws". Thaci reelected as party leader
