Despite announcements that the government would be working throughout the month, most of its ministers are still on vacation. Even though Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic has returned to work, most ministers are still on vacation, which is why the government meeting scheduled for this week would have to be canceled, according to daily Vecernje novosti. Ministers still on vacation At the General Secretariat, where material is being printed for the next meeting, officials said that the government is not on a collective holiday and that all of the ministries and services are working. Cvetkovic returned to work on Monday after only a seven-day break, but does not have a large enough number of ministers present to hold a meeting. Many ministry state secretaries have also left on vacation, as well as deputies. It is expected that after the two-week break is over, the government would be meeting next Thursday to discuss the laws and regulations that are on the agenda currently. It was stated that no meetings via-telephone were organized in these two weeks either, which is the kind of meeting that is usually called when it is hard for all the ministers to gather on short notice.
