New indictment issued for Šarić group

The organized crime prosecution has issued another indictment for drug boss Darko Saric and eight other people for money laundering charges. They are suspected of laundering EUR 20mn earned from the sale of cocaine. Radovan Strbac, Dubravka Strbac, Stevica Kostic, Zoran Copic, Andrija Krlovic, Marinko Vucetic, Predraga Milosavljevica and Nebojsa Jestrovic are the other eight people who are suspected of being involved in the laundering activity. The prosecution has 15 tapes of phone conversations between Saric and the other suspects, which were recorded in between January 15 and May 18, 2009. The special prosecution already indicted Saric in April, along with 19 others, suspected of smuggling 2 tons of cocaine from South America in October of last year and smuggling 235 kilograms of cocaine into Italy in January 2009.
