Kosovo Albanian officials will "request that Belgrade stops interfering in Kosovo’s internal issues" at Tuesday’s UN Security Council meeting. This is according to reports out of Pristina, that said those officials will also "insist on the stance that northern (Serb) Kosovo must have order and lawfulness like in the rest of the country". Pristina media on upcoming UN SC session Kosovo Albanian Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuqi said that Skender Hyseni, appointed by the government in Pristina as its foreign minister, "would order and lawfulness being achieved" in the north. “We will also ask for Serbs who are Kosovo citizens to help in the process and for Serbia to stop interfering in our internal issues. We will demand from the UN Security Council support for achieving legitimate rights and to achieve law and order on the entire territory of the country,” Kuqi was quoted as saying. However, according to local media in Pristina, it is yet to be confirmed whether Hyseni would be allowed to participate in the emergency UN Security Council meeting, which was called on Serbian President Boris Tadic's request. It was announced late last week that the president will travel to New York for the session. Tadic's request came after a deadly attack during a protest organized by Serbs in northern Kosovska Mitrovica.
