The Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between Montenegro and the European Union has come into force. Montenegrin European Integration Minister Gordana Djurovic said that this would be increasing the speed of Montenegro’s European integrations. SAA comes into force for Montenegro With the SAA coming into force, Montenegro gains the right to participate in the work of the Council for Stabilization and Association, and would be participating in a meeting of the council in June. All 27 EU member-states have ratified the SAA with Montenegro, which the EU signed in October 2007.
