Opposition parties talk cooperation
Opposition SNS leader Tomislav Nikolić says his party and News Serbia (NS) have started talks on long-term strategic cooperation.

Opposition SNS leader Tomislav Nikolic says his party and News Serbia (NS) have started talks on long-term strategic cooperation. The two parties will strive to “score (election) victory over the (ruling) Democratic Party (DS)”. Opposition parties talk cooperation “We began the talks in order to defeat and topple the Democratic Party's rule. Our cooperation with NS will be of strategic nature,” Nikolic told Tanjug, and added that the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) will also take part in the talks. “This morning we held our first meeting with the NS on this issue, and we agreed to meet on a regular basis and define a clear strategy. The public will be informed about the details as soon as we reach accord,” the SNS leader said. He said this is the first time that members of SNS were having talks with their NS colleagues, “since it was always DSS that represented NS”. Asked if more parties would participate in the talks, Nikolic answered that all parties that support changes were welcome.
