SNS unanimously elects Nikolić, Vučić as leaders
At the first election assembly of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Tomislav Nikolić and Aleksandar Vučić were unanimously chosen as president and deputy.

At the first election assembly of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Tomislav Nikolic and Aleksandar Vucic were unanimously chosen as president and deputy. Nikolic and Vucic were unanimously elected by party officials in a vote that included 3,433 party delegates. SNS unanimously elects Nikolic, Vucic as leaders The election of other party positions is ongoing by the SNS assembly, which meets once every four years. The presidency and high committee of the party is being selected. The committee is the party’s main decision-making body, which meets in between parliamentary sessions. It is made up of 400 members. The presidency is the operative-political body, and has 30 members, according to the SNS statute. Party President Nikolic and Vice-President Vucic are expected to address party delegates later in the day.
