Croatian police arrested two Serbian citizens who tried to smuggle 1.7 kilograms of cocaine by soaking it into their clothes.

Croatian police arrested two Serbian citizens who tried to smuggle 1.7 kilograms of cocaine by soaking it into their clothes. Police stated that the two were arrested at the Zagreb airport, adding that they soaked their clothes in cocaine, dried them, and then packed them into their luggage. The drugs were meant to go to the Serbian drug market. Media stated that the arrested Serbian citizens were Fahrudin N. and Rihan M. from Novi Pazar. They were coming back from Lima through Paris and left Belgrade for Peru in early March. Customs found many articles of clothes covered in a dried white substance when checking their bags. Police said that the 1.7 kilograms of cocaine was extracted from only half of the clothes that have been analyzed thus far.
