President Boris Tadic met with his German counterpart Horst Koehler to discuss Serbia’s European integration process. Tadic told Koehler that long-term peace, stability, and economic development in the Western Balkans is only possible through the European integration of the region. Tadic, German president discuss EU integration “The European Union is one of the largest projects of peace in international politics, and only with the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU is it possible to achieve sustainable peace and economic development,” Tadic told the Tanjug news agency. Tadic and Koehler, who is a respected economic expert, also discussed the economic crisis and mechanisms that could defend the international economy in the future from instability.
