Seven basketball players and their coach were injured early this morning in a crash on the Belgrade-Nis highway near the town of Lapovo. The Novi Sad Basketball Club (KK) team was in a van that hit a freight vehicle traveling in front of it, reports said. Two athletes seriously hurt in crash All those injured are treated in Kragujevac, where the doctors said two had suffered serious neurological trauma and are currently on ventilators. The patients' condition is described as "serious but stable".
