Town declares day of mourning for murdered teen Beta news agency unofficially learned that two persons – a 19 and a 16-year-old – suspected of brutally beating the victim, have been detained. The charges against them cite “infliction of grievous bodily harm with fatal outcome”. The club, Monca, was previously the scene of disturbances, including incidents when two persons were killed and two others seriously wounded. For this reason, the local government has requested that the club now be shut down. Meanwhile, the parents of the victim said they would press criminal charges against local police, because they believe that a patrol that was close to the scene of the incident did not react in time. They also said they would sue the club’s owner and security. Serbian police (MUP) in Bor confirmed earlier that a patrol car was parked near the club, but that a canopy erected around the club’s yard prevented officers from seeing inside.
