Đukanović reflects on Montenegro’s progress

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic said that Montenegro has made significant progress since declaring independence in 2006. He said that Montenegro is on the right road towards achieving its goals which were set in the foundation of the 2006 independence referendum. Djukanovic reflects on Montenegro’s progress “On May 26, 2006, we set a framework for a nice picture which had to be painted. This cannot be done by an individual in one mandate,” Djukanovic said, adding that in order for all Montenegro’s goals to be achieved many years and much work is needed. He said that the visa liberalization was the “most joyful news” of the year for Montenegro.
