Montenegrin PM: EU candidacy by end of 2010

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic said that he expected his country to receive the EU candidate status by the end of 2010. Djukanovic, who is visiting Rome, Italy, said that "reservations" regarding Montenegro’s admission to the EU which some countries, such as Germany and the Netherlands, "primarily regarded the entire concept of enlargement of the EU during the crisis of the European institutions, and the world economic crises,“ RFE reported.
