Ruling Democratic Party (DS) MP Nandor Maraci, 61, died in a Belgrade hotel this Tuesday, it has been confirmed. Parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic reacted by adjourning today's session of parliament. Democratic Party MP dies The speaker told reporters that she announced the end of today's sitting because of the death of the the DS MP, and that a commemoration would be held at the Serbian parliament tomorrow. MPs will also continue their work on Wednesday, once the speaker and members of the late Maraci's family have agreed on the details concerning the commemoration. Democratic Party MP dies

The speaker told reporters that she announced the end of today's sitting because of the death of the the DS MP, and that a commemoration would be held at the Serbian parliament tomorrow.

MPs will also continue their work on Wednesday, once the speaker and members of the late Maraci's family have agreed on the details concerning the commemoration.

Maraci was from Kanjiža, in Vojvodina, northern Serbia, and was staying at the Slavija Hotel while in Belgrade. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.
