If the Liberal-Democratic Party (LDP) objections to the local elections in Vozdovac, the SNS will organize protests. This is according to the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) Vice President Aleksandar Vucic. SNS: Protests if court accepts LDP objections His party won the most seats in the local assembly of this Belgrade municipality in the early elections held last Sunday, while LDP will not be represented, as it failed to cross the five percent of cast votes threshold. “If they even think about stealing a clear-cut victory, they are very much mistaken. You will see how powerful the protest will be if they try to steal votes,” Vucic said in Belgrade on Wednesday. He pointed out that the Belgrade District Court would deliver its ruling on the "baseless LDP complaints" today or on Thursday, and added that if the ruling is in favor of that party, the public will witness "how prepared SNS is to fight for the will of the voters, because the votes of 24,000 people in Vozdovac would be instantly protected". The SNS vice president called upon the government to explain to the nation "why they had been lying in the election campaign, promising the citizens at least EUR 1,000 from the free shares of public enterprises, only for the figure to go down to some RSD 1,700 and additional uncollectable shares worth RSD 2,500". “The question is, who did they lie to, why did they start the lie just before the elections, in order to deceive the citizens. This shows how irresponsible the entire government is. They must bear full political responsibility,” he pointed out, in reference to the campaign ahead of the last parliamentary elections.
