Public enterprise Skijalista Srbije has spoken against the privatization of the ski-center on Mt. Brezovica, in Kosovo. Serbia's public company in charge of the country's ski reports reacted on Tuesday to announcements from the EU representative in Kosovo. Public enterprise against Kosovo privatization A statement from the company says that the "announcement of the International Civilian Representative in Kosovo Pieter Feith regarding the privatization of Brezovica represents a unilateral and illegitimate act of possession and alienation of Serbia’s property". They pointed out that Skijalista Srbije, as one of the founders of the Brezovica Ski Center, would notify the competent authorities about this plan. Feith said yesterday that tourist facilities in Brezovica would be privatized "transparently and in the manner that was in accordance with the future regional cooperation between the EU, Belgrade and Pristina".
