The Serbian Special Prosecutor for Organized Crime commented on Thursday on the seizure of 492 kilograms of cocaine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Argentine police raid, which netted several Serbian and Montenegrin citizens, was a part of Operation Balkan Warrior, it was announced. Op Balkan Warrior to be continued The arrests confirmed the findings of Serbia's intelligence agency BIA that an international criminal group "had bought a large quantity of narcotics", said the prosecution, adding that the operation would be continued. "After exchanging information with Argentina and some other countries' law enforcement agencies about the latest cocaine arrest, and based on evidence gathered during an ongoing criminal investigation, the Office of the Special Prosecutor will decide on whether to expand its investigation to persons not currently included in it," said the announcement. The prosecution pointed out that the latest operation in Buenos Aires is connected with another similar raid conducted in Uruguay back in October, when 2,171 kilograms of cocaine were found on a yacht belonging to a Croatian citizen, identified as Anastazio Martincic.
