Serbian Kosovo Minister Goran Bogdanovic said that the agreement with EULEX will be signed despite Pristina’s refusal to accept it. He said that the refusal of Kosovo officials to accept the agreement for cooperation between EULEX and the Serbian Interior Ministry is proof that Pristina is not constructive and is a source of instability in the region. Bogdanovic: Protocol is inevitable After a meeting with international officials, Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu and Prime Minister Hashim Thaci said that the Kosovo institutions are sovereign and make sovereign decisions in accordance with the constitution and laws of the country. Bogdanovic said that the only way to solve all the problems that have piled up in Kosovo is through negotiations and talks. He told B92 that he believes that the protocol for cooperation will definitely be signed. “Regardless of Pristina’s protest, I think that the protocol will be successful and that there will be a signing. The real question is why Pristina did not stand against criminal activity in Kosovo, which is being regulated by the agreement, along with other questions, such as the exchange of information and the rule of law. I expect that this agreement will be signed, because it is in the best interest of all of Serbia’s citizens, which includes all Kosovo citizens as well,” Bogdanovic said.
