The State Committee for Solving Conflict of Interest issued a "non-public measure of warning" to Parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic. Djukic-Dejanovic was found in violation of Serbia's conflict of interest regulations. Speaker found in conflict of interest She told B92 that she would end her engagement with the Kragujevac Clinical Center. The center is providing paid consultancy services to Belgrade's Galenika pharmaceutical company. The speaker, who hails from the ruling Socialists (SPS), was also engaged as Galenika's adviser. The committee gave Djukic-Dejanovic two weeks to resolve these violations, and in a statement in Belgrade today, she said she would not contest the findings, but would quit her Kragujevac job. The committee did not find the speaker in breach of those articles of the Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest which relate to state officials' failure to report their sources of income.
