MUP Gendarmerie officers from the divers' unit and police in Sabac are looking for the body of a male victim who drowned in the Drina River. The incident happened near Banja Koviljaca on Sunday, reports said. Gendarmerie divers look for body in Drina The Serbian police (MUP) directorate (PU) in Sabac confirmed today that citizens reported that the man, described as being in his 30s, had drowned. A rescue operation launched immediately did not yield any results, and search continued today with Gendarmes called in, along with Sabac police officers. Police records show that this is the second case of drowning of swimmers in the Drina this year in the area of the town of Loznica, in the west of the country.

The Serbian police (MUP) directorate (PU) in Šabac confirmed today that citizens reported that the man, described as being in his 30s, had drowned.
