A contract was signed at the government on Monday on a Japanese government donation to the public utilities company Izvor in Petrovac na Mlavi. The donation is worth EUR 66,520, and is meant to improve environmental conditions in that town in eastern Serbia. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic and Petrovac na Mlavi Municipal Head Radisa Dragojevic. The donation comprises a vehicle for transporting recycled material, a packaging press, a sweeper, and 20 special dumpsters for PET containers, Tsunozaki specified. "This is the 112th project for the elementary requirements of the population in Serbia," he said. The Japanese government has so far earmarked almost EUR 200mn for economic assistance to Serbia over the past 10 years, the ambassador said.
