Visa liberalization for Macedonians traveling to the EU could lead to limiting entrances for residents of Kosovo and Albania to Macedonia. Pristina's Albanian language daily Koha Ditore writes that Kosovo and Albania residents might need visas to enter Macedonia starting on January 1, when Macedonia will find itself on he Schengen white list. "Kosovo, Albania residents might need visas" But according to the Macedonian Foreign Ministry, no such decision has been made yet. Spokesman Petar Culev said that any possible introduction of visas "for the two neighboring countries" would not be the choice of Macedonia, but would depend on recommendations from the EU.
