PM Mirko Cvetkovic said after meeting Hungarian counterpart Gordon Bajnai that the Serbian government gave priority to EU integration and economic cooperation. Taking part in a Hungarian-Serbian Business Forum in Budapest yesterday, Cvetkovic said that Hungary constituted a ticket into the EU market, which was why Serbian business had to capitalize on that position fully, in terms of the positive experience of their Hungarian partners. PM meets with Hungarian counterpart At the same time, the prime minister said, Serbian could offer Hungary a short-cut into the Russian and Belorussian markets, which could be of paramount importance, given the slump in global market demand. “My talks today with the Hungarian premier further reinforced good inter-state relations between the two countries, and I’m sure that you will in future have the full support of both governments in establishing economic cooperation,” he stressed.
