Almost two-thirds of Serbian citizens, 61 percent, are in favor of EU membership, according to European Integration Office Director Milica Delevic. Presenting the results of an opinion poll conducted in May, Delevic said that 17 percent of citizens would vote against Serbia joining the EU if a referendum was held now, while 14 percent would not vote. 61 percent in favor of EU membership The vast majority of Serbian citizens, 82 percent, believe that visa liberalization is important for the country, 10 percent disagree, while eight percent have no opinion on the matter.
