DHSS to team up with DS

The Demo-Christians (DHSS) have announced that they reached a "cooperation and strategic partnership" agreement with the ruling Democrats (DS). The two parties will team up for next elections, and are already cooperating on the local level, "an in a certain way in parliament", a statement issued in Belgrade said. DHSS to team up with DS "We consider it our long-term interest to work with the Democratic Party, as a pillar of pro-European ideas in Serbia and our partner from the times of the Alliance for Change and the Democratic Opposition of Serbia [DOS]," the DHSS said. The party, which has one parliament seat, previously collaborated with the Liberal-Democrats (LDP), and is headed by the Djindjic government justice minister, Vladan Batic.
