Two dead in Belgrade fire
Two youngsters died in a fire in the Belgrade suburb of Voždovac on Tuesday night, says Fire Brigade Chief Miloš Nestorović.

Two youngsters died in a fire in the Belgrade suburb of Vozdovac on Tuesday night, says Fire Brigade Chief Milos Nestorovic. Nestorovic said that the fire had broken out in a home in Kraljevacka Street at about midnight, and had been localized within six minutes of the firefighters’ arrival. The smoke then spread to the floor above, and staircase, where two young individuals suffocated from smoke fumes while trying to flee. Nestorovic said that one female had suffered slight injuries to her leg and that one older woman had also been taken to hospital for treatment. He said that three fire engines with a total of 16 firefighters had helped to put out the fire.
