According to Pristina daily Koha Ditore, Suroi participated in an international conference in France, stating that Kosovo must be allowed to enter contractual relations with the EU and have an equal status with neighboring counties in the integration process. He also called for these talks to be scheduled within the next 12 months, as Serbia’s EU membership application and the visa liberalization process meant that pressure could now be exerted on Belgrade in these circumstances.
