An unnamed former KLA prisoner has agreed to speak to the BBC about details of torture carried out on civilians in a camp in Kukes. On its site the BBC states that the prisoner, an ethnic Albanian, agreed to speak out on condition of anonymity. The broadcaster states that Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci has rejected the accusations, stating that he is aware that certain individuals “abused KLA uniforms,“ but that the KLA distanced itself from such acts.
