Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic says the British parliament strongly supports Serbia’s European integration. After a meeting with the UK parliamentary foreign affairs committee, Djelic said that members of that body had pledged to ask their Dutch colleagues to unblock Serbia’s path to the EU. Djelic: UK wants Serbia in EU “What is most important, in my opinion, is that designated members of that committee will meet with their Dutch colleagues and ask them to unblock Serbia’s path to the EU, as we know that that (Dutch) parliament is the one which gives orders to the Dutch Foreign Ministry and which has vetoed the implementation of our agreement with Europe,” he said.
