The police arrest seven members of a criminal group last night suspected of several armed robberies. More arrests are expected, says Interior Minister Ivica Dacic. Gang of armed robbers arrested Dacic said that he expected another organized crime group dealing in counterfeit documents, driver’s licenses and car registrations to be busted today. According to the Interior Ministry, seven suspects were arrested and have been remanded in custody for 48 hours. The suspects are believed to have been behind a series of armed robberies, including the robbery of a bank and post office, as well as attempted murder. At the time of their arrest, they were also in possession of firearms and narcotics. The arrests were made in Belgrade, Indjija, Stara Pazova and Nova Pazova, and most suspects were already familiar to the police.
