The Serb Progressive Party (SNS) will block parliamentary work if the administrative council takes three of its mandates, says daily Vecernje Novosti. In the event that mandates are taken from three former Serb Radical Party (SRS) members—Veroljub Arsica, Jelena Budimirovic and Igor Becic, who joined Tomislav Nikolic’s SNS, this party would interpret that as an agreement between the Radicals and the Democratic Party (DS) and change its strategy in parliament, says the newspaper. Progressives ready to block parliament? The SNS would take the same tactic as their former SRS colleagues and, through its MPs, block the Serbian parliament’s daily agenda. But the party officials doubt they would again become "victims" of a DS concession to Radicals due to wider agreements over a new code of procedure and unblocking of parliament.
