A 30-year-old Belgrader shot himself in the head in the middle of the street this Monday in the Serbian capital. The man, identified as Ignjat M., was walking with his brother when he suddenly produced a pistol, and shot himself in the right temple. He was taken to the Emergency Center in Belgrade in a critical condition. Unofficially, it was heard that huge debts he could not repay might have been the motive for the attempted suicide. Ignjat M. has a small child and a pregnant wife. The pistol he used today was properly registered and belongs to his father.
