Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said that there will be a very important meeting in Brussels soon regarding Serbia’s European perspective. Jeremic, who is in Sweden today, said that in preparation for that meeting, he will meet with foreign ministers from Sweden, Slovenia, France and Italy during visits to those countries. Jeremic: EU is Serbia’s priority He added that he will be discussing similar issues with other foreign ministers via telephone as well. “The task of Serbia’s diplomacy is to help the channeling of good will, to help implement synergy between countries which support us on the road towards European integration in order to overcome the current blockade that began from the lack of a green light given by Holland for the further European integration,” he said. “In 2009, we must be creative, active, all-inclusive and unwavering, because this year must be the year of the strategic step towards the European future of Serbia and the entire Western Balkans,” Jeremic said.
