Serb war crimes suspect arrested

Members of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Investigation and Protection Agency have arrested war crimes suspect Stojan Perkovic. Perkovic was arrested on a warrant issued by the Bosnian state prosecutor’s office. He is accused of crimes against humanity. Serb war crimes suspect arrested Perkovic, who commanded a Republic of Srpska (RS) military unit from the village of Ladjevina, is accused of committing and being an accessory to murder, conducting illegal arrests, rape, and persecution of non-Serb civilians. The indictment also states that the suspect is responsible for abusing, assaulting and murdering several dozen Bosniak civilians in the municipality of Rogatica, the Bosnia-Herzegovina prosecutor’s office said today.
