The government is responsible for all the damaging directorial contracts in the public enterprises, daily Blic writes. Those contracts have enabled individuals to get rich quick at the tax payer’s expense through enormous bonuses, illegal multi-million severance pay-offs, lavish representation budgets, and double positions, the daily writes. "Govt. to blame for public company abuse" The public prosecution office has called for information on all irregularities to be submitted. Failure to do so by the government or company directors can only mean a cover-up, the daily writes. The media has been speculating for days now about the multi-million severance payments that directors at Nikola Tesla Airport, Ski Resorts of Serbia, and Jat Technologies have between awarding to themselves in switching from one position to another, while the state sits idly by. Republic Prosecution Office spokesman Tomo Zoric said that the prosecution was “closely following everything that’s going on and will act in accordance with its constitutional and legal powers," though refused to say what action had been taken thus far. Zoric said that anyone in possession of relevant information on all this and who was “giving statements to the media” should contact the prosecution.
