Berlin has denied the speculation that Germany was involved in the bombing of the International Civilian Office (ICO) premises in Pristina last week. “It is completely absurd and pointless to say that the German agencies could be responsible for terrorist attacks abroad,” deputy spokesman for the German government Thomas Steg said regarding the arrests of three Germans who media claim are agents of the German intelligence agency (BND).
