Leader of the Montenegrin opposition Serb List Andrija Mandić was taken to an emergency medical center in Podgorica last night.

Leader of the Montenegrin opposition Serb List Andrija Mandic was taken to an emergency medical center in Podgorica last night. This came after Mandic's health deteriorated some time after 22:00 CET. Opposition leader taken to hospital He has been on a hunger strike since Oct. 13, protesting the Montenegrin government decision to recognize Kosovo Albanians' declaration of independence. Clinical Center of Montenegro Director Vladimir Dobricanin told reproters that Madic's condition was good last night. He described him as conscious, but very exhausted. Dobracanin also said that the Serb List leader will continue treatment at the hospital.

He has been on a hunger strike since Oct. 13, protesting the Montenegrin government decision to recognize Kosovo Albanians' declaration of independence.

Clinical Center of Montenegro Director Vladimir Dobričanin told reproters that Madić's condition was good last night.

He described him as conscious, but very exhausted.

Dobračanin also said that the Serb List leader will continue treatment at the hospital.
