Serb Progressive Party leader Tomislav Nikolic says that his party represents the “biggest threat to Boris Tadic.” Nikolic told Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti that the Serb Progressive Party’s (SNS) ambition was to lead Serbia, adding that it would not be good for the state “to remain completely bereft of an opposition.” SNS "biggest threat to Tadic" The SNS leader said that he could hardly wait for the elections, adding that he did not expect them until at least mid-2009. The SNS leader said that he could hardly wait for the elections, adding that he did not expect them until at least mid-2009.

"Koštunica is obviously doing his own thing, and I don’t want to accuse him of breaking up the opposition bloc by refusing to cooperate with the SNS,” Nikolić said.
