Kosovo government spokesman Memli Krasniqi says that Kosovo and Macedonia will establish formal diplomatic relations next week. He said that following Macedonia’s recognition of Kosovo unilateral independence last week, diplomatic relations had yet to be established. "Diplomatic relations next week" Media in Kosovo, quoting a statement from the Macedonian foreign minister, say that the first Macedonian ambassador in Kosovo will be Stojan Karajenov. Kosovo has also recognized Macedonia under its constitutional name of the Republic of Macedonia.
