Parliament has reconvened in Belgrade on Tuesday with MPs first voting on the emergency session’s agenda. After this, the regular fall session began, as was announced earlier. Parliament continues session The debate on the items on the emergency session’s agenda had already concluded. 27 items, including laws on visa abolishment, are on the agenda. The first meeting of the fall session saw MPs vote on the decision to terminate the mandates of several judges and prosecutors, as well as on the election of the National Bank Council, four deputy ombudsmen and on the appointment of Bojan Pudar as parliamentary under-secretary. Parliament discussed these issues at its emergency session of September 25-30. Serb Radical Party (SRS) MPs hindered the work of that session by continually citing violations of the Code of Procedure, demanding they be returned the mandates of those MPs that had crossed over to Tomislav Nikolic’s newly-formed Forward Serbia club. Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic said earlier that she would be holding consultations with all party whips prior to the session in order to ensure parliament's work runs smoothly.
