Serbia has done all to convince Montenegro not to recognize Kosovo or to, at least, exercise restraint, Serbian Ambassador to Podgorica Zoran Lutovac says. Lutovac told the Sunday edition of the Podgorica daily Vijesti that Serbia's reaction to Montenegro's decision on the issue would depend on whether it is made at the “moment which will be most unfavorable for Belgrade” as the leaders of Kosovo Albanians and the countries persuade others to recognize seemed to be hinting, or at some other time in the future. "Reaction will depend on timing" “Serbia will make moves depending on the moment when this happens,” he said. The least Belgrade can do is withdraw its ambassador from Podgorica, Lutovac said, pointing out, however, that “will not be the only measure”.
