President of the Vojvodina Executive Council Bojan Pajtic says that the state needs to be cautious in its unilateral implementation of the Interim Agreement. Pajtic said that the state needed to be careful not to jeopardize domestic trade, especially agriculture, while implementing the agreement. "Caution over unilateral implementation" He told a meeting of the Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors that unilateral implementation of the Interim Trade Agreement might “devastate our farmers, because they are still not ready to fulfill all the standards required of them.” Pajtic endorsed the view of Agriculture Minister Sasa Dragin that agriculture should be excluded from unilateral implementation of the agreement, or that if it was included, measures should be very carefully and precisely defined in order to protect the industry.
