A group suspected of illegally trading in the property of Kosovo Serbs was arrested by MUP officers, report say. Ten persons were detained, including one former and two current policemen, all suspected of involvement in the case. Arrests over illegal trade in Serb property A hearing has already started at the District Court in Kragujevac for the suspects who come from different parts of Serbia - Pozarevac, Belgrade, Golubovac, Veliko Gradiste and Smederevo. They are facing charges with having committed the crimes through malversation and use of forged documentation. The suspects obtained the data on displaced Kosovo Serbs from police records, to then proceed to make fake IDs. When selling the property belonging to the Serb IDPs to the Kosovo Albanians, they presented themselves as the legal owners.

Arrests over illegal trade in Serb property

A hearing has already started at the District Court in Kragujevac for the suspects who come from different parts of Serbia - Požarevac, Belgrade, Golubovac, Veliko Gradište and Smederevo.

They are facing charges with having committed the crimes through malversation and use of forged documentation.

The suspects obtained the data on displaced Kosovo Serbs from police records, to then proceed to make fake IDs.
