VS CoS Lt. Gen. Zdravko Ponos says military cooperation with the U.S. is successful, despite the trying situation. At a joint press conference, Ponos and Ohio National Guard Maj. Gen. Gregory Wayt voiced their expectation that cooperation between the Serbian Army and the Ohio National Guard would improve further, and that it would spread from the military field to civil fields as well. Ponos praises cooperation with U.S. Ponos underlined that the number of activities and the number of the people engaged in the successful application of this work proved the high degree of willingness for continued cooperation. Expressing satisfaction over the fact that he was in Serbia once again, Wayt pointed out that military cooperation with the Serbian Army was at a high, enviable level, and announced the start of civil cooperation starting from November. Wayt said that Serbian soldiers were extremely professional and that cooperation with the Ohio National Guard was both professional and of a very high standard.
