Italy to recognize Kosovo passports

Italian Ambassador to Kosovo Michael Giffoni said in Priština today that Italy would recognize the new Kosovo passports.

Italian Ambassador to Kosovo Michael Giffoni said in Pristina today that Italy would recognize the new Kosovo passports. After submission of a letter of accreditation to Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu, Giffoni said that the procedure for issuing visas to Kosovo citizens would be finished very soon. Italy to recognize Kosovo passports “Italy firmly believes in stability in Kosovo and the Balkans. That’s all part of the Balkans’ European perspective,” he said. The ambassador said that the aim of his government was to strengthen and enhance economic, political and cultural relations with Kosovo.
