SRS: Multi-party system in peril

The SRS sec.-general says the formation of the Belgrade local govt. marks the beginning of the end of the multi-party system. Aleksandar Vucic told a press conference that cooperation between politically opposing parties, such as the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Democratic Party and the Liberal Democratic Party, showed that they had abandoned their principles and that they were run exclusively by personal interests. Speaking of the process being led against SRS leader Vojislav Sesej before the Hague Tribunal, Vucic denied media claims that Milorad Ulemek would be a defense witness, but said that he had helped with some information related to the indictment. He said that it was not certain whether Seselj would even present a defense.
