"Serb municipalities slated for decentralization"

The office of the international representative, ICO says that Kosovo Serb municipalities will be decentralized. The office, headed by EU's representative in the province, Pieter Feith, made the announcement in Pristina today, saying that preparatory teams will soon be set up to, as part of the consultations in the decentralization process, have the role of coordinators between this office and the Kosovo communities. McGuffie expressed satisfaction because of, in his words, a great interest shown by the communities across Kosovo in the process of decentralization. "Since we speak to people daily about decentralization, we see that they react positively to the benefits that their communities will have in this process," he said.
