Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac today in Belgrade met with Chinese Ambassador Wei Jinghua. Sutanovac expressed his gratitude "because of China's principled policy on Kosovo-Metohija", Tanjug reported. Serbia thanks China over Kosovo During the meeting, both officials stressed their satisfaction with the traditionally friendly relations between the two states which rest on principles of international law, mutual respect and non-interference in internal relations. Military cooperation, especially developed in the field of military education and military health care, is extremely important for both states and its intensification was announced, the Defense Ministry said in a statement today. After 24 years, the Chinese chief of General Staff is to visit to Serbia, while Sutanovac's visit to China is also planned. The statement adds that for first time, a group of Serbian Army (VS) officers will observe a Chinese military exercise.
