The U.S. State Dept. wants the international community to take control of northern Kosovo as soon as possible. “Some sort of presence of the international community should exist in that region and it cannot be exempt from control, or be outside Kosovo,“ said U.S. Secretary of State in charge of European affairs Daniel Fried in Brussels.
